Delete your Get First Try account
An account is optional: it only syncs your progress across your devices. If you created one, you can delete it at any time, directly in the app.
In the app
- Open Get First Try on your phone, signed in to your account.
- Go to Settings › Account › Delete my account.
- Confirm. Your data is erased from our servers and the deletion is confirmed to you.
Without access to the app
Email us from your account's email address, with the subject “Account deletion”:

We check that the request comes from the account holder, then delete the account and confirm it by email.
Data deleted
- Your email address and account identifier.
- Your synced progress: answers, flashcard reviews, sections read, exams and settings.
Deletion time: [to be confirmed: within 30 days] of the request.
Data kept
- Accounting records of your purchases, for the legal retention period ([to be confirmed: 10 years], French Commercial Code, Article L123-22).
- Progress stored on your phone: it is never sent to us without an account, and is erased when you uninstall the app.
Purchases and subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription: cancel it in the subscription settings of your Apple or Google account. Your purchases stay linked to your Apple or Google ID; the “Restore purchases” button brings them back in the app.
No account?
Then we hold no progress data about you: everything stays on your phone. Uninstalling the app erases it.
